Description
Han Erb from Dundee, Ohio, waits in the MCC mobile cannery for volunteers to fill cans with meat that he will vacuum seal. He was working in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, in early February 2021. Every year MCC’s Mobile Meat Canner travels across the United States and Canada meeting volunteers who prepare cans of turkey, beef, chicken and pork to be sent around the world. Because of COVID-19, the meat canning schedule for 2020-2021 was consolidated and volunteer participation reduced.
