Description
Mitch Mealey worked out of the MCC Maritimes office for part of the summer as he created new graphic design materials for seven local churches and non-profit organizations during his Summerbridge term.
Summerbridge is an eight to 12 week service program for people over 17 who are attending a Mennonite or Brethren in Christ church, particularly young people from inner city or ethnic minority congregations. While with Summerbridge, participants get a stipend from MCC and their local church to work in the church or a community organization doing projects such as planning youth activities, repairing buildings or teaching music lessons.
