Extra information: Chim Ponleu, 18, holds a picture of herself at age 13. At that point Chim regularly visited the drop-in centre and MCC partner organization Let Us Create in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. As she grew older, Chim became more and more aware of her role in her family and a responsibility to support them financially. When she was age 15, Chim dropped out of school. Let Us Create encouraged Chim to go back to school, and even arranged for her to attend a local school that provides technical training. She recently graduated and is currently working as a manager of Cafe Awaken in Sihanoukville.
