To reduce juvenile crime and encourage healthy relationships between youth and residents in the Reedley community, Chief Joe Garza (left) and Lt. Marc Ediger (right) of the Reedley Police Department and John Swenning of MCC work together with Kings Canyon Unified School District, Community Youth Ministries and Reedley Peace Center.

Kings Canyon Unified School District has seen a 61 percent reduction in school suspensions in the last four years due to the ongoing work of West Coast MCC's Reedley Peacebuilding Initiative (RPBI).
