Description
Pam Shedrach weaves strips of cloth into fabric that can be turned into carry bags, table runners and other products that can be sold for a profit. Some of the carry bags are reversible with a plastic side made from discarded and cleaned plastic water bags on one side and a woven fabric side on the other. This work is part of Home Makers' newest project, Weave of Hope, that helps displaced Nigerian women from northern Nigeria and youth struggling with drug addiction make an income from items they can get for free around them.
