Extra information: MCC Haiti staff in Port-au-Prince, including MCC logistics coordinator Herve Alcina, inventoried material aid supplies (blankets, canned meat and relief kits). The supplies were prepositioned at the MCC Haiti office in Port-au-Prince, before MCC knew Hurricane Irma was on the way, so that MCC would be prepared to respond to any emergency. These prepositioned supplies will assist MCC staff in Haiti to respond quickly to needs that arise from Hurricane Irma, a category-five hurricane that struck the Caribbean region in September 2017.
