Description
Second grade teacher Safiya Adamu teaches her class at the Faith Alive Community School in Hwol-Yarje, outside of Jos, Nigeria. The school was set up by Faith Alive to serve HIV orphans and the children of low-income parents. .MCC supports Faith Alive Foundation, which operates the hospital and clinic in Jos, Nigeria, where indigent patients can receive free, holistic healthcare. MCC provides HIV testing supplies and antiretroviral medication. MCC supports Faith Alive’s program for prevention of parent (mother) to child transmission of HIV. In addition, MCC supports education and livelihood programs for patients.
