Description
Caption: Even school supplies were swept away from Osa Jonmarits' house by Hurricane Irma's flood waters.
Extras: Hurricane Irma, a category-five hurricane, struck the Caribbean region in September 2017 causing extensive damage. The destruction of gardens in La Chapelle, Haiti, means a significant loss of income for many residents. Without the income from garden produce, many families will not be able to afford school fees for the coming school year.
