Mark Charles, a Native American Christian, Navajo activist, public speaker, consultant and author on Native American issues, will lead a webinar on Jan. 21, the first of four to be held by MCC U.S. in 2021 for MCC staff and the public. U.S. staff members are embarking on a year of learning about fostering a more equitable and inclusive environment for all of God’s people
Mark Charles is also a journalist, blogger, Reformed pastor and computer programmer. He was an independent candidate for president of the united states in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. With Soong-Chan Rah, Mark is the author of Unsettling Truths: The Ongoing, Dehumanizing Legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery, Intervarsity Press (2019).
